About us
We are an orthopedic surgery and traumatology team led by Dr. Omar Maya Álvarez del Castillo, focused on joint surgery, knee and hip replacement, arthroscopy and sports traumatology. For years we have cared for Mexican and foreign patients at our clinic in Ajijic, beside Lake Chapala, where much of the expat community is treated in English.
Each case is planned individually: precise diagnosis, minimally invasive surgery whenever possible, and a rehabilitation plan followed step by step — with recovery lofts and physical therapy on site. Our practice has now expanded to Guadalajara, at Hospital Ángeles Andares.
