Who is responsible for your data

Dr. Omar Maya Álvarez del Castillo (Orthopedia MX), with clinical offices at Carretera Ote. 33, 45920, Ajijic, Jal. and Piso 26, Consultorio 2625A, Av. Patria 1355, Puerta de Hierro, 45116 Zapopan, Jal., is responsible for the collection, use and protection of your personal data, in accordance with the Mexican Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP).

Data we collect

• Identification and contact data: name, age, nationality, phone, email, address.
• Health data (sensitive): medical history, diagnoses, imaging studies, treatments and surgical records.
• Billing data when an invoice is requested.

How we use it

To provide medical consultation, surgical planning and follow-up, coordinate hospital admission, recovery loft stays and physical therapy, schedule appointments, issue invoices, and contact you about your treatment. With your consent we may also send you clinical follow-up reminders.

Sharing your data

Data may be shared only with medical staff, hospitals, laboratories, imaging centers, insurers or authorities directly involved in your care or legally entitled to it. We never sell your personal data.

Your ARCO rights

You may request access, rectification, cancellation or object (ARCO) to the use of your data, and revoke your consent at any time, by writing to us or calling (376) 766 0500. We will respond within the legal timeframe. Clinical records are retained for the period required by Mexican health regulations.
